Philanthropy

Charter Health, A Charter Oak Development Company, was founded on the principle of providing leading solutions to today’s critical health care issues and in turn, using profits from those sales to give back to the communities in which we live and work.  Our ambition is to utilize a 1-1-1 philanthropic model which involves giving 1% of our product, 1% of our profits and 1% of our employee’s time to give back to communities and the non-profit sector.

Today, our employees have given to a host of deserving organizations in their communities including:  United Way of Forsyth County, Samaritan Ministries, ReadWS, ABC of NC Foundation, Experiment in Self Reliance, Legal Aid of NC, Second Harvest Foodbank of Northwest NC, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Bookmarks, Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and Safe Families for Children.
